Application Process

Candidates may apply through both offline and online mode. For Offline Application, the application forms are available from the Accounts Office, BBDU between 10.00 am – 5.00 pm.

The duly filled up admission form along with the required documents can be submitted in the office of the office of the Deputy Registrar, BBDU, Lucknow latest by 04.00 pm on 15/09/2020.

For Online Application, you need to register yourself using the link given on this page. After registration, please follow the following steps

Step 1. Login with your user ID and password to fill the online application. Online Application Confirmation email will be sent after successful submission of online application.

Step 2. The Bank account detail will be sent in Online Application Confirmation email for the payment of Application Fee. Make online payment of Application fee.

Step 3. Login to your account and submit your Application Fee Payment detail.

Fee Structure

Online Entrance Test & Interview

  1. All the applicants will be required to appear in Doctoral Program Admission Test followed by an interview. The Test will be held online on 17 September, 2020. All interviews will be scheduled on 18 September, 2020. The online test and interview schedule and other details will be communicated to all applicants individually.
  2. The online test will consist of multiple choice questions – 50% question shall be on research methodology including general research aptitude, computer skill and remaining 50% question shall be on the subject. The online test will be of 60 minutes duration.
  3. All the candidates appearing in the online test are also required to appear for interview. The candidate shall be required to express his/her research interest during the interview. Any candidate who fails to appear in the interview shall not be considered for final selection.
  4. The candidates who have qualified UGC/CSIR (JRF)/NET are exempted from online Test. All such candidates are required to appear in online interview only.

The results will be made available on the University website; individual applicants will not be informed.
